new new yorkers

We've been here only a few days, and Nathan already has a new freelance job working for his friend's production company. They do a lot of fancy work for their fancy clients. Nathan got to help set up for a big party for Louis Vuitton and Stephen Sprouse tonight at the Bowery.

When I came to check it out, I found Nathan sitting on a ladder that was straddling the Subway stairwell.  He was plastering posters all over the Subway, which I didn't think would be legal. But I guess when you're Louis Vuitton and are dropping millions and millions on one party, you have enough money to do what ever you want.

I wonder if Nathan can find me a place to hide so that I can crash the party. I have an evening gown, but no invite to the party. Hmmph!

Congrats to you and Nathan! Sounds like things are off to a great start. Will you be opening a store in NYC soon? I'm visiting in April and would LOVE to stop by!

I bet it won't be difficult for you to hide...you're teeny :D

Ooh! Maybe there will be a giant cake at the party in the shape of an LV bag (or Marc Jacobs' head, because EGO MUCH) and you can hide in there! And then you pop out of the bag (or Marc's eye) and be like "HI EVERYBODY THIS SHIZZ IS BANANAS!"

And they'll all be like, "No. It's chocolate."

And Marc'll be like "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BAG/HEAD?!"

And then you will have a wonderful story for future generations.

Leanne-I am new to your blog but was a huge fan on Project Runway...a belated congrats to you.

I actually blogged about you in my most recent post. I am not a designer but I love to crochet and i "re"created one of your styles (although soooo not as nice as yours) in a crochet pattern. Not a good knock off but it was very fun and works for my daily mommy life.

I'd love for you to stop by my blog and check it out. :-) i know...i'm so corny!
