These are my last few days in Portland. I'm dismantling my work studio and have been going through 3 years worth of saved remnants and fabric scraps. I still have so much to do, and so much to get rid of. Everything in my studio is for sale or up for grabs, and it's so hard to let go. I am excited about living in NY, but I'm really going to miss Portland.

We are gonna miss you! so much!
Best of luck to you! I've never moved in my life but also hope to make it out to NYC someday soon.
It's going to be great!
There is no place like NYC! You'll love it and it will love you back :)
I'm really going to miss Portland.
I'd love to say "So why leave us?" but I know moving to NYC is really the best thing for you. (What exactly from your studio is on sale? I know a costumer who might be interested.)
We'll miss you, Leanne! I was recovering from cabin fever going through the Fiber Arts District (a little pretentiously named but good stores nonetheless) and everyone there spoke of how proud we all are of you and of how wonderfully you represented us. I wish you all the best in your life and in your career. (PS One of these days, if you were to consider designing a few plus sized items, I can guarantee you at least one sale!)
:) Portland is lovely (I went there earlier this year for a visit and fell in love)... but NY is going to be taken by storm by you!!
Is anything from your studio going to be sold online? I'd love fabric scraps and such... :)
I'm selling (or FREE-ing) everything locally on Craigslist. I should've planned better and sold it online, but now I've run out of time! ARgh!
we are gonna miss you more than you know my dear, but we still hve a ton of fun memories to make when you move! u just call rob and i when nathan is driving you batshit crazy, and we will fly to you, and crash at your house...all to save your sanity, of course. anyhow, i love you and nathan, and ive been sad today more than ever. its starting to hit me! we love you though, and portland does too. itll be here waiting for you, like richard marx said.
best of luck in nyc. it's going to be amazing. and portland, i'm sure, will take you back if ever you want to return.

Portland (and Mill End) is (are) going to miss you.
Hi Leanne,
We've never met, but I'm also a fellow Portlander marooned in this chaos known as Brooklyn. I was reading the Mercury online (I'm so lame and starved for PDX) a long time ago, and I read the blurb where they mentioned that you were to be on that seasons PR. I'd never had any real interest in the show before, but I felt like I needed to show some Portland camaraderie. SO. Long story short, I became obsessed and never scheduled any dates on the nights that a new episode would air-- and I'm in love with you and your designs (and I creep on your blog, I'm just a creep, sorry).
But I digress. Anyway, I received one of your old dresses as a birthday present this year, and I wore it to my bands first show. I think it brought me incredibly good luck, and everyone was shitting themselves over how beautiful the dress is/was.( I wanted to send along a photo but blogspot doesn't allow photo comments).
I just wanted to say thank you for being so amazing, and I'm very excited for your upcoming line!
Many thanks, and all the best,
Victoria
