two miracles

Not only is it snowing, and I'm here to enjoy it (after getting my orders out and work done first), the biggest check in the world finally came today! Aaaaaaaaggh!! I can't believe it! I am going to cry.

All the days of sacrificing and putting my personal needs last, not being able to pay bills, making do with very little, all in order to just buy fabrics or repair my sewing machines are over.  I can buy whatever fabric I want! I can run a real business where I don't have to make every single thing myself because I can't afford to do otherwise. I'm not going to be homeless at the end of the month, like I feared. All that incredibly hard work and years of struggling but never giving up has just paid off. It is all real now. It really happened, and it's just really hitting me now.

And it's beautiful outside.

It's crazy awesome to see you go from a seller on my etsy favorites page to the winner of project runway (making me kick myself that i didnt buy from you back in the day).... "we" are so proud of you... "we" being the masses that have really no right to take part in your joy except as spectators ;o)

That's so wonderful, Leanne. It's so awesome that you've been able to accomplish your dream and sell your beautiful creations. I'm always happy to see good art get the credit it's due.

It's so inspiring to read too... I'm hoping to go into a creative business (writing) and hearing about your success reminds me that these things do happen with hard work and not giving up.

Wow! I know it must feel like heaven!
U deserve it! Those waves and petals were amazing.

I wonder how many hours it took you to make each outfit....wow!
As a fashion designer too, I know there are some designs that look good in the head and lovely on paper, but actually doing them is kinda scary because of what is involved...but when it is finished, - A GREAT feeling of accomplishment!

You are good and I look forward to seeing your name on the List of great designers! Keep it up!
happy New Year!
