NYCya real soon

I'm in NYC again for a quick business trip, and will back again, permanently in less than 3 weeks! I was very hesitant and nervous about coming for this trip, but things went well, and I'm thankful I did. Though, I was devastated having to miss rare Portland snow. Enough snow to go sledding at Laurelhurst Park. Portland, I'm gonna miss you a little. I'll be back tomorrow, so bring some more snow for me!

We're due for snow here on Wednesday again, and the schools west of the Willamette are closed again tomorrow. But that, as usual, is from ice. Hopefully you'll get your wish day after tomorrow.

Woohoo! That's what I hear! I can't wait to go down the hill riding my garbage can lid! :)

You might live to regret your fondness for snow once you get to NY! Central Park has some nice hills for sleigh riding. (We used to use lunch trays for sleds)

we certainly do get snow here in NY, and there are mountains just a few hours outside the city, if you want BIG snow. good luck with the big move, we're happy to have ya here!

good luck on the upcoming move! Any chance of you opening a store in Manhattan? :)

Awww man....I have the worst snow luck ever. Now that I'm at the airport leaving NY, it's starting to snow.
I hope there's no delay.

K: Probably not opening a store anytime soon. It's a really tough economy to open a storefront in. I'll keep working on my line to get it distributed to several more shops. Someday I'd like to have a flagship store, but that's not for aways off.

I'm looking forward to buying more of your pieces in the future!!!! Will you have any stuff on Etsy in the days ahead?

(and I have no doubt that you will have that flagship store one day!!!)

=] Awesome!! It must be such a stark diff though...Portland to New York. Anyway, I live in NY so I was pleasantly surprised to see that you're visiting!

You're not missing much-- I've been stuck inside for days and am getting cabin fever! Portland is pretty, but we're not equipped for the snow... You're also missing all day coverage of the snow on all the local networks.

Sara, I heard it's an around the clock OMFG THERE'S SNOW/ARTIC-FREAKING BLAST newscast! I'm back finally, after getting stuck over night in Salt Lake City.
And I realize after wanting the snow so much, that I, much like Portland, am not very equipped for it either. Golashes are NOT a good substitute for real snow boots!

Yipee! I'm glad you have a blog now! There is more snow forecasted for Chicago, so you should stick with Portland & NYC. Such crazy weather on the West Coast!
